Red dry patches??

Good evening!! My son is almost 2 and he has developed red very dry patches on his thighs upper and lower back. He has had a few of them on his arm for the past 2-3 weeks but I just thought it was dry skin. These spots appeared on the other parts of his body out of nowhere and all at once. I am guessing dry skin? Ideas welcome!

I don't think they itch at all.
Thank you ladies!

Thank you. Does the pediatrician prescribe something for this or should I buy something at Walgreens?

Red dry patches??

Talk to the Dr. first. I know it's fairly common, but I found that for one of my DD's the prescription Desonate made the difference.

I use the BabyGanics eczema cream for her 2x day to keep her moisturized. It's parabens free and all natural.

Eczema! Try coconut oil. It works wonders.

The dr will usually prescribe a steroid cream if it's pretty bad.

What's worked for DD- bathing with Cetaphil wash and CeraVe cream after baths. I also use All Free & Clear detergent. We do have a prescription cream, but I try to avoid using it unless it's really bad.

Cortisone twice a day if it gets really bad.
