Twin moms/moms to be
Our families are having a hard time picking a date for my shower. I am due on August 13 with twins. My sister in law in getting married at the end of august also. So my husbands side has two showers to plan.
Anyway, my question is when did you guys have your showers? How many weeks were you? It's hard because we don't want to wait too long but my shower will hopefully be outside so the weather needs to be nice. My vote was for June but who knows how I'll feel by then! Lol

No twins for me but my shower will be when I am 32 weeks. I didn't want to wait any later than that.

Mine is on 2/9 (at about 30/31 weeks) -- and I definitely would not have it later -- I can barely walk these days!

Re: Twin moms/moms to be
My was in January when I was about 29/30 weeks and I was already on bed rest and had a cerclage put in but I was allowed to attend the shower as long as I sat and didn't over do it!

Re: Twin moms/moms to be
My shower was at 35 weeks and I had my twins at 36 weeks. But I was still working too. Not comfortable, but it really was just fine. I wouldn't wait any longer that 35 weeks though. GOOD LUCK!

Re: Twin moms/moms to be
It was originally for 26 weeks because I knew there was a chance I'd be on bed rest at some point. Well I hit put on at 26 weeks and had to pp to 31 weeks (I think). By then it wasn't as risky to be out if bed. I'd say about 32 weeks is good bc you aren't as high risk where you would require strict bed rest at that point. I was able to go and just sit the whole time.

My shower was at 30 weeks. I'm not carrying twins but I felt great so maybe you want to aim a few weeks earlier?
