Re: Dentist
once you're out of the first trimester anything can be done (says my dentist)
funny b/c I need a crown/post and he's making me do it after I deliver
it shouldn't be a problem for you though to have a filling done or even a root canal

Yes. I had a cavity filled in my second tri. They give you special nova-cane.

Re: Dentist
I had a rootcanal and a tooth pulled in the 3rd tri. You'll be fine, just let them know

I had one done during my 2nd trimester also, bc of the same reason. They didn't give me anything for pain though, but it really wasn't bad at all- since it was replacing an existing filling.

I had a bunch of stuff done while preggo with Brayden; they give you special novacaine.... lidocaine w/no epinephrine... It doesn't last as long, but a good dentist will keep you nice and numb with additional injections if you start to feel it wearing off!
