when do you drop?
At what week or stage does your stomach drop?
I noticed this morning that my stomach looks lower- I am 31w3d
is this early or normal? i feel this is all so fast
i do not see my OB until next week

when do you drop?
everyone is different
i did not drop until i was in labor - 10 cm dilated and 100% effaced.
dd was so high they told me pushing would be a waste of my efforts and they had me sit up for 2 hours until she finally dropped and i was able to push

I don't think mine ever dropped with DS. I am carrying pretty high this time around as well, but I have to say that in the mornings my stomach looks much lower than in the evenings (I'm almost 27 weeks)... I would track the progression over today and tomorrow.

when do you drop?
My little guy is still riding pretty high. I will be 37 weeks tomorrow.

I think it's different for everyone. I didn't drop until I went into labor. I was really high still at the start of my labor, but she dropped when she was ready lol
I carried high to the very last minute.

Definitely different for everyone. I honestly never dropped.
When I was in labor, after I got my epi, the nurse sat the bed straight up so she would drop.
It worked.

i dont think there is a need to call unless you are having pain, contractions, etc
you could carry low for 2 more months without any problems

maybe the baby's in a different position...that could change your "look"...i would imagine anyway. I cant remember "dropping" when i had my daughter...

My belly dropped around 30-31 weeks. My OB said the position of the belly will vary through out pregnancy.

i feel like i dropped at 36w, but it seems she bobs in & out of position. still lies mostly low.

I was asked if I dropped today and I am 33+ weeks. I don't think it means anything necessarily. The baby might have just repositioned

I've been very low my whole pregnancy. Even strangers tell me I'm carrying low... I don't think it's possible for me to drop!
