Dr. Rafael - anyone have any experience with him?
I don't want to get into details right now but I need to see a high-risk perinatalogist based on results of some genetic testing. My OB made me an appt with Dr. Rafael for tomorrow.
Has anyone met with him?

I have GD and I have seen him many times. I think he is wonderful. Very soft spoken and a great listener! Good luck!

Thank you - he called me yesterday himself to go over a few things with me before my appointment today. He seemed so nice over the phone.

Love him! I saw him throughout my high risk pregnancy. He's wonderful and compassionate. A super doctor. Good luck.

Re: Dr. Rafael - anyone have any experience with him?
Is this Dr. Rafael who's associated with Winthrop? If so, he's awesome. He and his team were my high-risk doctors while I was in the hospital after I gave birth. I didn't have any high-risk issues before hand until I went in the day I delivered. But he was fantastic and really kept my husband and I informed with everything and made me feel as comfortable as possible. I would definitely use him again if I need to see a high-risk doc in the future.

Yes - he's the one at Winthrop.
I'm loving the positive reviews.
Thank you girls.

Dr. Rafael did my amnio with DD 2 years ago. He was WONDERFUL. Called the moment he got the lab results, which was 7pm on a saturday. Highly recommend him!

I meet with him when I had hypertension in my early pregnancy. He was super nice and really put me at ease. He explained everything and answered any and all questions that I had. (He's also cute!!)
I also saw a Dr. Chavez there who was also wonderful. He texted me test results at 6pm on a friday and stayed late to get them to me because he knew I was nervous.
