Anyone have a scheduled C at St Charles
When did you get the time of your C-section. And did you go for pre-testing...if so, what did this entail?
I just had to call the scheduler at my Drs office bc she never called me...but I was given my date. She told me the hospital would tell me my time when I went for pre-testing...which she said was bloodwork the day before...this doesn't exactly make sense to me. I'll ask my Dr at my next appointment, but just wondering if anyone had experience with this.

Anyone have a scheduled C at St Charles
My cs was at Good Sam but it's the same thing. They take your blood, listen to your heart/lungs, take your bp and temp at pre op. You will get a call from the hospital the day before with a final time.

Oh, Thanks!! Since I wasn't scheduled last time, I didn't have to do any pretesting, so I wasn't sure what they meant.

I've had two scheduled C-sections at St Charles. The pre-testing was a few days before my scheduled C. They just took some blood and ran a few vitals.
St. Charles let me know what time to arrive at the hospital and when I was scheduled for surgery.

Thank you! The scheduler from Suffolk OBGYN told me the testing is the day before... And that didn't make sense ...I figured it would be a few days before. I know they are short staffed at the moment in that department, so I felt bad asking a million questions.

Anyone have a scheduled C at St Charles
I had my pre-surgical testing the day before. They took some blood and a few other basics. I had already been given my time (8 am surgery time) by my dr. but they just told me again and reminded me that there was the possibility of getting bumped up later if an emergency came in.

I went to Suffolk OB too. 
With my DS I definitely went a few days before. I think I went in on a Friday for the pre surgical testing and I was scheduled for my C on Monday, but I got bumped to Tuesday.
My DD was five years ago so it's hard to remember but I may have gone in the day before with her because my C was scheduled for a Friday.

Thanks for all the responses. I'm scheduled for a Tuesday, so maybe I'll go Monday? It's not until early March but I'm getting anxious!
