My mom wants to get this stroller for DS for when she watches him so he can nap in it since it converts into a bassinet & she always insists on rocking him to sleep (which she can't do in his crib or pack n play) so she basically wants it because it's a bassinet on wheels. He's getting too big for the rock n play & too cramped to sleep comfortably in his infant car seat (which is what she's been using to try to get him to nap).

(I don't think it's necessary & I think he needs to learn to nap without being rocked which he's able to do just fine at bedtime at night... but she watches him almost every day for me & insists on rocking him, so I'm going to lose this argument.)

Anyway, what I wanted to know is, how large is it when it's it the bassinet position?? Is it roomy enough for a baby larger than a newborn? (DS is almost 6 months old & tall for his age.) I'm wondering how much use my DS will get out of this (as a bassinet. I know the sit-up stroller portion goes up to 50lbs). I don't want to get it & then he'll be too big for it.
