All Inclusive in Hawaii
are there any all inclusive resorts in hawaii...that include food and alcohol?

No there aren't. You will be able to get a package that includes breakfast and maybe rental of water sports equipment (snorkels, kayaks, etc.), but there are no true all-inclusives in Hawaii.

This! Go to a travel agent. I think in that circumstance you can save more with a TA. We did the Grand Hyatt at Kauai and Maui. Because we did both we got a better package.

Greg's parents have a timeshare in Hawaii...but its like an apartment, not a resort. but they said we can switch it to a resort if we want. so I don't know if I can still use a TA?
Plus i'm worried that food is so expensive and we'd be eating out every meal.
i'd hate to say i'm leaning towards an all inclusive island over hawaii just for convenience. lol

Go for an AI then! There are sooo many great ones. I am not an expert in them, but many girls on here can help. Also, you can find more that aren't as far away so no 10 hour long flight. 
I'd still talk to a TA though to get ideas and get best prices. It's been a looong time since I worked with one, but I got a price, found another TA online that got a better price so went back to the TA I was working with in person and she met the price.
Sooo excited for you. When are you looking to go? To get married there or the honeymoon?

If you go to Hawaii and use a timeshare - it most likely will have a full kitchen so you can prep some meals and eat out some. We went out for dinner and had breakfast and lunch in the unit.

we can do that...but my thinking is...this is my honeymoon and i don't want to cook lol

Go to Hawaii!!! it is so worth it! Like a PP said you may be able to get breakfast free but there is no AI.... We stayed at two hyatts (one in oahu/waikiki and the other in maui) and the promotion we got was stay at the 2 hyatts and get breakfast free.

I hear you - we didn't cook - just bagels, cereal, sandwich, etc... easy stuff. And nice dinners out

Yes, you can go out and spend hundreds of dollars on a nice dinner, or you can go to a more moderate place and spend less.
We go about every other year and have found a lot of local places to eat that don't break the bank.

We also bought snacks, beer and wine for the room.
I'd definetly pick Hawaii over an AI.
We've been there 2x and loved it. I'm really ready to go back again.

We've been to Oahu 3x, Kauai 2x, Maui 5x and the Big Island 2x. We're heading back to Maui and Kaui at the end of September!
Our go to hotels are:
Oahu - the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach
Kauai - the Grand Hyatt
Big Island - Fairmont Orchid
Maui - 1st trip was at the Sheraton, each trip after has been at the Hyatt Regency. Thinking about splitting it up this next trip and doing 5 nights in Wailea (probably Fairmont Kea Lani) and 5 nights in Ka'anapali (unsure if Hyatt, Sheraton or possibly the Westin). We prefer to stay in Ka'anapali over Wailea but haven't been so happy with the Hyatt there lately.

Agree. When breakfast is included, we go to breakfast as late as possible, then skip lunch.

If you're heading to Wailea, consider the Andaz Maui.
It's on the short list. We have lots of Fairmont points to use though - and we were planning on using our hyatt points on Kauai. Between the hotel points and FF miles, hopefully all we'll need to pay out of pocket are rental cars.

You could do a cruise around the islands. Your alcohol won't be included, but at least your food would be.
