Recommendations for a mom and kid only trip?
My friend and I are planning to do a mom and kid only trip in March for spring break. Both our husbands are unavailable to travel.
Can you recommend somewhere fun to go?
My friend has a 4yo daughter and I have a 2yo and 4yo.
Disney Cruise to the Bahamas is one of our possible choices. Would prefer a trip that has some kid's club and/or nanny available so I can get a little break here and there.

Atlantis in the Bahamas is a very popular choice but can be a bit pricey

My friend actually threw out Atlantis but that is where we went on our last vacation. We were just at Atlantis in November. We stayed at the Cove and had a magnificent time.

How about Beaches? Or FDR Pebbles in Jamaica.

We also went to Beaches Turks and Caicos last year.
Is FDR the resort that gives everyone a nanny? That might actually work! I could use a hand with the boys in the pool.

Yes, they give each family their own nanny. I believe you can use them for a set amount if hours per day. So you can use them all during the day. Or in the morning and then again in the evening.

If it fits the budget, go for the cruise.
If your kids are outgoing and dont mind being away from you, they will love the kids clubs. We also used the nursery and while DS didnt like it (he doesnt do well with new people or places) we found the sitters to be really nice and caring. Plus you have the wave phones so they can always contact you no matter where you are.
The adult only areas are really nice. And the beach on Castaway Cay was fantastic, we all enjoyed just sitting and relaxing there all day (we went with another family so there were 7 of us in all)

Just make sure that if you do a cruise what the minimum age for kids to go into the kids camp is... i believe a lot of the cruise lines require kids to be 3, i think carnival is 2.

Disney is 3 AND potty trained for hte kids club. I have heard they will bend if the child is PT and close to their 3rd birthday though. BUT they have nursery as well which is only $6 per hour.
