Anyone ever have to take your DC to your OB appt?
My babysitter got sick. My DD is 2.5. It's my 34 week appointment, and I don't think internals start until 36 weeks. So I think it's just a quick check-up. Am I crazy to try to bring DD? Should I just reschedule?

I think it should be ok. i always take my dd with me to dr apts.
I think your right about internals week.

I bring my 4.5 yo and my 2.5 yo. I keep my 2.5 yo in the stroller and make sure I have lots of fruit snacks or munchies to keep her busy!

Anyone ever have to take your DC to your OB appt?
There were always children at my ob's office. I plan to take DD this pregnancy. If possible, DH will be with us. Otherwise, I'll put DD in the stroller.

Thanks everyone!! I'll be bringing her, in the stroller, with lots of snacks!! 
She's usually pretty good when we go anywhere, I just hope she doesn't cry when the Dr walks in, like she does for her Dr! Lol.

My dd has come to every apt I have had so far. She's 3 and actually gets a kick out of mommy having to see the dr instead of her. The dr always includes her too. He will have her say Hi to the baby when he uses the Doppler and always ask her what she's excited about to do with the new baby. Plus my OB has lollypops in his office so she makes sure she's on her best behavior and she gets a lollypop at the end.

I brought my 2.9 yo DS in once. He was hovering between being freaked out and total indifference once his cartoon came on on the iphone :)

When I was preggo with DS #2- I brought my 3yr old with me a bunch of times.... never had an internal though....
It was usually a quick- heartbeat, urine, weight check...

Thanks everyone. I brought her, made a last minute decision to leave the stroller in the car, and she was great! She was also very excited to hear her little brothers heartbeat!
