any reason to switch formula close to 1
DD is on added rice formula. Any reason to switch to a more reg formula before 1 and before milk. Dh thinks we should. She was so bad on every formula but this one. I don't think theres a need. Its regular formula just with rice.
If your child was on special formula did you switch?

DD was on Similac Sensitive, and I never switched to anything else before the milk transition. I see your DH's point, bc the thought did cross my mind too, but ultimately I figured why transition her twice?

I wouldn't bother. If your LO is doing fine on what she's already drinking why mess with it? I would leave it alone until you're ready to switch her to milk.

Thank you. I see his point too closer to milk but with 2 months to go why bother and mess with her belly. She's has enough belly issues lol. I'm nervous for the milk transition b/c she tends to get constipated a lot. Prune juice usually helps so I think I just have to remember to offer her that a few times a week.

I say leave her. When you begin to transition her to milk, transition her very slowly. If she's having tummy problems, just keep her on the formula longer.

DD was on AR and I kept her on it until she moved to whole milk at 1 year old.
No need to put their bodies through another transition.

poop issues could be caused by the added rice in her system also give her cut up pears

yes, she eats a ton of fruit, pears, prunes, blueberries etc and drinks a ton of water. The most effective for her i rune juice
My dh and Fil are nuts lol

If its working then leave her alone. Why switch to something else & then again to milk....She is fine.
