copays for flu shot
Does your pediatrician charge for an office visit when giving a flu shot? So who I thought was a PA came in looked in their ears listened to their chest and then the nurse gave them their flu shots? I just got billed for copays and they're telling me that they have to insure that they are healthy before they get the flu shot. Honestly I think it's just a way to get copays out of patients. My old pediatrician would take their temperature and then given them their shots.

Yes. I went through the same thing. My insurance says if they are there just for a flu shot, you shouldn't be charged.
But the Dr bills it a different way and says they need to make sure they are healthy.
Sucks.

I did get charged a copay for DS 1 with his flu shot - not for DS 2 because it was a well visit.
