I have DD's crib mattress saved in perfect condition. Can I use for DS 2 when he is born ?

I had every intention to but the salesgirl in Bellini where I am getting the crib for DC #2 told me they shouldnt be reused Bc of dust mites etc.

I'd be inclined to think that's a sales tactic to get you to buy a mattress from them.
If it's well stored and you can clean it, I would use the one you have.
