BTDT moms- hospital bag- what do I really need?

Help! I am 32 weeks on Monday and can go at any time. What do I need to bring? How many days are we there if it is natural birth vs C section? I figure phone/charger, pjs , nursing bras(how many??) take home outfit , flip flops. Anything else?

2-3 days natural, 4-5 days c-section ( the day you give birth is day 1).

Toiletries are a huge must (toothbrush/paste, shampoo, body wash, face wash, etc.). And don't forget a hair brush; my hair got disguising laying on my back and sliding around and I left it at home. I used my iPad a lot if you have one. You may also want a camera.

You may want your own socks or slippers but I used the hospital ones.

For baby, be sure to have a take home outfit and jacket/hat.

I packed for a natural birth but had a pile of extra pjs if I had a c, which is what I ended up with, so it was easy for DH to just pick up the pile and bring it to me. Foolproof!

At our hospital the day you give birth doesn't count if you deliver past 9pm. We delivered at 11:30pm so that first night didn't count. Delivered on Friday night and went home Monday morning. They gave us to the option to leave Sunday but we didn't. Insurance was still paying so we stayed.

Bring your own towel
Flip flops for the shower
Toiletries (toothbrush, paste, hair brush, shampoo, cond, makeup, body wash, etc.)
Comfy socks and slippers
Loose sweats and pajamas
Take home outfit for dc
iPad and charger (you have a lot of down time)
Camera and charger
Phone and charger
Boppy or nursing pillow

You may also want....
Chapstick
Sugar free hard candies while you're in labor
Snacks for dh and after you deliver. You can't eat that wholeeeeee time and the cafe might be closed once you deliver

Edit. If you do cord blood you MUST have the kit
