we bought our set thru family cord- we did it bc DH family has alot of cancer in the history so we playing it safe with whatever may come our way
we paid $150 start up and we pay $200 to ship back and then the fun of storage fees

I did it along with the tissue banking. If you can afford it I would do it. There is so much research going on. I would regret not doing it if it could potentially help dd.
We used CBR. FM me if you want our contact. They are the first ones to do it.

I am going to do it. My brother had leukemia as a young child and my dr said it would be a good idea. Any idea as to the prices? What does the storage run?

Re: Cord blood banking
We did it with my daughter, and we are doing it again with this baby. Id rather have it and never use it, than not have it and need it!
