how to get to the airport if you dont bring car seats?
what does everyone do? should i park in the long term lot? is there a car service rec that provides them? im in queens. tia

how to get to the airport if you dont bring car seats?
Everyone in my neighborhood (in Queens also) uses Legends Car Service for airport runs. They provide car seats and everyone says they are great and clean car seats. The number is: (718) 788-1234. I've never used them myself, but have hear good things!

we used to use legends (they provide seats) but more recently have been using other services who let us use our own, hold it for us, and then drive us home with the seat in the car. we like that better because we can use our britax

We would drive to JFK, and use AirPark. We'd take the car seat with us for the shuttle & then check it at the gate of the plane.

thanks all. i called legends. is $85 a good price? i cant help but think that's crazy! it's for a minivan w/2 car seats. i live in northern queens.

NOPE! Shuttle is on site and they transport you right to the gate. They also load and unload all your luggage for you! I love them!

That sounds about right for legends but we found other car service companies were cheaper (and didnt mind bringing our own seats).

I prefer having my own car at the airport. I like that she can settle in and sleep or get back into routine once we are home. Some flights are early so we let her sleep while I get to the airport too.
We take the shuttle and that's it. I never bring our car seat.
She loves finding our car when we get home.. she is so excited to be back home. We can stop and eat if she's hungry etc.
