Ds is 3 weeks old n eats 4 oz
Is that too much? He takes it n sucks it down n acts like we dont feed him. We just upped him from 3 1/2 to 4 oz n durin the day will nap for 3 - 3 1/2 hours n at night he wakes up every 4 to 4 1/2 hours. Anyone else ds/dd eat that much at 3 weeks old?

Totally normal. If he's sucking it all down you should probably add another ounce and see if he wants more.

Normal - some babies need more. As long as he isnt' spitting it back up you are good. They lead the way.
My ds went to 4oz quickly but has stayed there until 3.5 months and now only taking 5

ITA...I've learned that there should always be a little left in the bottle. If he's draining the bottle, he prob wants more.

At 3 weeks my DD was eating that much. I think thats perfectly normal.

DS1 was like this. At 3 weeks he was up to 3oz and then quickly moved to 4. He's 4 yo now and has always been healthy and his height and weight have always been in proportion.

My ds is 2 weeks old and is taking 4oz every 3 hours. I throught that was a lot too but I guess not.

My DD is also 3 weeks old and is taking anywhere from 4-5oz a feeding. We give what she will take.
She was eating 3 oz by day four  Our ped said as long as we aren't forcing it and she takes it, it's fine.
