Similar/Rhyming names

My first son is named Jack. My DH and I were considering Max for #2.

Jack and Max...

Too similar?
Hard to say?
Thoughts?

I'm back and forth. TIA!

I am not a fan of similar names But I do say pick whatever you and your DH like and not worry about what others say.

Re: Similar/Rhyming names

I just kept getting tripped up when saying them together. When I say Max first, I found myself saying Jax in stead of Jack.

Max and Jack. It doesn't roll off the tongue easily.

Maybe I'm over thinking? Thanks for the responses.

I say do whatever you and dh want. Both are great names. I think you may end up calling your some jack, jax (jacks) and it would end up being similar

Love Max. It's my nephews name. Chat Icon I say go for it. They aren't similar and if they were and you and DH liked it that is really all that matters right?!
