Just fell in my apartment while pregnant
Ok. I spilled some water on the floor of my hallway and I mopped it up so that I wouldn't slip and fall. Well When I took two steps over it to get something from the kitchen that's what I did. I slipped and I fell. Luckily I was able to catch myself and I fell on my hands and knees but now I am shaken and scared about the baby.
Should I go to the hospital? Should I wait and see how my body reacts? Am I going to be ok?
I know that I may be overreacting but I just would feel better if I spoke to other mothers and potential mothers about this.
Thank you!

I would call the Dr and ask them whether u need to get checked. But it sounds like all that got really hurt are ur knees and hands - no other body part hit the floor?

Call your OB- the doctor may have you got to the hospital to fetal monitoring.

Re: Just fell in my apartment while pregnant
Have you done a kick count? I would sit down for 10 minutes or so how see how often the baby kicks. If the movement is pretty consistent with norm then I would say you're fine...
How far along are you?
I was in a car accident at 12 weeks, air bag deployed, car totaled and the baby was totally fine...but it was early....

I'm sure you are fine. I've dangled from my 8 month belly over a baby gate when I tripped and all was well. Baby its super protected. If you are far along for movement, make sure its three norm and no bleeding or cramping. Feel better

Call and ask. My dr had me go to the hosp Friday when I slipped on ice. I am sure everything is fine but it is better to be safe. If you aren't cramping and spotting you are more than likely ok. Doesn't hurt to get peace of mind

It doesn't hurt to call your doctor and let them know, ten take it from there. Odds are, you and baby are fine. Just to share my story, at 8 months PG I also fell in my kitchen. I fell on my right side and hit my head pretty bad, which caused a concussion. Turns out my baby was nice and comfy in there. And 100% healthy
