So nervous in between sonos!!
Hi everyone! I am currently 15 weeks pregnant with twins after doing IVF. I have a sono today to see my little angels. My last one was a little over 2 weeks ago. During that time, I was really sick with a stomach virus, sinus infection, lots of yucky stuff. I find myself so nervous in between sonos and I am so afraid of hearing bad news. Everything has been perfect so far. I have read that once you hear strong heartbeats, miscarriage is rare. Both heartbeats have been very strong and both babies are always wiggly on sonos. Does anyone else get themselves so nervous! I am afraid all this sickness has affected them! So neurotic, I know.

Re: So nervous in between sonos!!
Not neurotic at all! My last sono was at 8 weeks - I'm now almost 11 weeks, and won't see our munchkin until next week. I've been a nervous wreck - but trying to keep as positive as I can. When I get certain symptoms like morning sickness, I get excited because then I think things are ok (crazy I know)...But it's all I can do.
Keep positive - I'm sure all is ok!

Re: So nervous in between sonos!!
What you are feeling is definitely normal. I too did IVF and really did not feel comfortable with the pregnancy until my Level 2 at 21 weeks. Now at 25 weeks, I feel movement and have a bump so it makes me feel more comfortable. I still worry, but it is not like a 24/7 thing - Thank goodness!
ETA: Some offices like mine do the last sonogram at 20-21 weeks so after that, you just have to rely on the fetal heartbeat monitor, which I think is even more nerve racking - took the nurse like 2 minutes to find the heartbeat!

So nervous in between sonos!!
I also did Ivf so I think the fact that it was so hard for us to conceive made it that much more nerve wracking that something would go wrong. I was so nervous in between scans. Then when I felt kicks I would be fine bc I knew she was ok in there. Then there were days towards the end when I didn't feel much movement and of course I was nervous. I have a fetal monitor at home and that always made me feel better.
Even now, and dd is almost 7 months, I still worry. I look at her and can't believe she's really mine....

Re: So nervous in between sonos!!
I did not believe I'd have my son till two days before my csection, which was my last appt with my high risk dr.
Between so many losses, infertility, preterm labor issues, bed rest, when the day finally came that's when I started to believe it!
Totally normal!

Re: So nervous in between sonos!!
I am freaking out and I still have weekly sonos due to getting pregnant through IVF. I have a 2 week wait from when I graduate from the RE (later this week) and go back to the regular gyno. It's so hard and I know it won't get any easier!
