6, maybe 5. Even now, my girls(8, 6.5) hardly ever chew gum...4x a year? I've also got a 3 yr old and I'd be terrified to let him chew gum; not happening for a long time!

I have a 4.5 year old and a 3.5 year old, and neither of them have had gum. Probably wont for a long time.

On occassion, DD chews trident bubble gum, she will be 3.

5 years old was the first time my son tried it. He's 6 now and has had gum less than a dozen times.

I can't lie, my kids are gum addicts. They would have gum every day if I let them. I think my older one was around 3.5-4 the first time had had it. My younger one was about 3.5.

The only time DS had it was last year on an airplane and he didn't continue to chew. He just swallowed it. He was 4 and I don't think for a while!

Same thing...DS also had it last year for the first time (he was 6) on an airplane. That was the only time.

My son had it ONCE. He's almost 4.5. I didn't realize it was the eyeballs of a character ice pop I had given him at the beach.
