Period only lasting half a day!
Not sure what board to post this on but figured this might be a good start!
My period arrived out of the blue last week ( I wasn't sure when it should have arrived but the holidays threw me off and I was kind of surprised when it arrived). So it arrived and I thought this was it...but it only lasted for about 8 hours and that was it...no spotting the next day just done and dusted....I had some cramping pains yesterday and thought maybe the rest of it was arriving but nothing.
Anyone know what could have caused this super short period?

could it have been implantation bleeding? are you trying?

Not trying.we did DTD 4 days before this one day bleed and two days before. We were "careful" ish.....but I dont think the timing works for this to be any type of implantation bleeding?

Was it a heavy flow?
Or spotting?
Could have been mid cycle spotting or estrogen breakthrough bleeding.

It was definitely what I would consider a period...full on red blood..what is "estregen breakthrough?

Sounds like you could be PG. I had that with my kids. I would test
