Just be careful. I used a Bjorn with dd#1 once she was a bit older (7 months maybe?) but later read that it can be really rough on their hip joints and isn't recommended.

Yeah. They are crotch danglers. Babies aren't supposed to dangle like that.

Yeah I use one with dd. my pedi wasn't worried. He said it doesn't cause hip dysplasia. It can aggravate if the baby already has it. I also have an ergo. I love the baby bjorn though. It's super easy to put on and she's never in it for extended periods of time when I use it.

The hips joints are still developing in the first few months and having baby's legs extended and unsupported puts them at risk of improper development. I used the bjorn with DD who did have hip dysplasia bc I didn't know better in the beginning but she wore a harness that supported her legs anyway. Once I read more I put the bjorn away for good.

It also looks so uncomfortable for babies unlike carriers like the Ergo for example.
