do you call doctor?
My 15 week old woke up with a very runny nose and dry cough. Is this something I should watch, or call the doc about?

i would just keep an eye on it and look out for a fever. if the cough gets worse then call the doctor. my son always got ear infections that started with a cough.

I do call and bring her in. Just to make sure her lungs and chest aren't congested bc that is serious. Right now it just sounds like the start of a cold.
Humidifier, Vicks nightlight, saline and steaming out the bathroom is what we are doing right now actually. Dd has a bad cold.

Re: do you call doctor?
At 15 weeks I'd call just to be safe. If there's no fever, they prob will say not to come in, but I personally don't play games with a baby's health, especially when they can't talk yet.

DD got her 1st cold right after thanksgiving just shy of 4 mos old. I called the ped on day 1 and they said if she has a fever or starts to wheez bring her in. 3 days later she was worse, still no fever or wheez, but I brought her in anyway for peace of mind. It was just a bad cold, but I felt better knowing her chest and ears were clear.
