New and have a question

Hi all,

I am fairly new to the pregnancy forum. I am pregnant with number 2. I posted a little bit with my first and I am excited to be back.

I think I am 8 weeks 3 days pregnant. I had a sono last monday and everything looked good. I go back today to see the doctor. I am slightly freaking out... I have been spotting since yesterday. Its not that much, something there is a little blood in the toilet (not all the time) and some on the toilet paper. Nothing on a pad. Is this normal? I did not spot at all with my first... which is why I am getting nervous.

Congratulations!

I spotted around 6-8 weeks with my first 2 pregnancies, I went on to have 2 very healthy children

If it is brown or dark blood it is usually old blood and as long as you aren't experiencing severe cramping I'm sure everything is fine

i spotted red blood when pregnant with my son & also spotted light pink with my current pregnancy & everything is ok!!
