Oasis of the Seas
Going on a cruise on this ship in March. (Not generally the type of vacataion I would choose to take, but friends are getting married on the cruise and I am excited to be going with them and looking forward to the warm weather). It seems like there is SO much (too much?) to do and not enough time to do it all. So, just wondering if anyone's been - what are the highlights and what is ok to skip?

Re: Oasis of the Seas
Love the Oasis of the Seas. Really liked most of the shows. Comedy show was great when we were on it. Enjoyed Hairspray and the aqua show. We made reservations online before we went. loved our dinner at Chops restaurant. Felt it was really worth the additional fee. Central Park area is very peaceful. Park Cafe was great for a light breakfast or lunch, much quieter than eating at the windjammer buffet. Enjoyed relaxing in the solarium (adults only pool area). We didn't try the zip line but heard it was a lot of fun although a quick zip line. Enjoy your trip - plenty to do but we really spent most of our day times when not at a port just relaxing by the pools or in the hot tubs.

Thanks for the info. I have heard that you need to book most shows and restaurants in advance. Is that correct?

Re: Oasis of the Seas
Book all the shows and specialty restaurants in advance, as early as you can.
Loved Central Park, it was a quiet oasis in the middle of the ship. Nice spot for breakfast and lunch. The Solarium was our other oasis. It is a childfree two story area at the very front of the ship, with it's own pool, hot tubs and cafe. Lots of lounge chairs.
Free donuts all day long on deck 8 on the Boardwalk.
It was fun - a lot to see/do or see/do nothing at all.
