Had a Christmas Eve baby
I just wanted to pop on here and let you all know that DD arrived almost 2.5 weeks early on Christmas Eve.
I had my 37 week appointment the day before where I was told that she was breech and that I needed to decide by the next day if I wanted to a have a version done (where they try to physically turn her) on Thursday or have a scheduled c section January 5th.
After reading up and watching some videos of the versionI
 I decided that I wanted the c section. I had some time to mentally prepare myself for the procedure and the recovery, so I wasn't too nervous about my decision.
Well, apparently DD decided she wanted to make the decision of how she was coming into this world. My water broke at 445am Christmas Eve morning. MIL came over to watch DS and we were in labor and delivery being monitored by 6:00 am.
I was having mild contractions at that point and just waiting for my dr. To come and evaluate me, when out of nowhere I literally jumped out of my skin in the most excruciating pain ever. I screamed for DH to call someone - and again the pain happened and I screamed and said I need to push now! The nurse scrambled to get the dr in there.
My Dr. literally checked me for 3 seconds, whipped her gloves off and said "I'm going to go scrub in, this baby wants out but she is doing it all wrong - her entire left left and foot is in your vagina!"
Eleanor Eve was born at 7:57 am on Christmas Eve morning. She is just an amazing baby - she eats, sleeps and poops. TOTALLY. Different from DS who cried and cried and cried because of terrible colic for 6 whole months. We keep forgetting she is around because she sleeps all the time.
