Car seat check?
We just brought a minivan (yay!) and switched car seats and are having trouble getting them back in the cars! We are getting frustrated!!
Does anyone know where to go to have them checked out?
Local pct., firehouse, etc???

Car seat check?
Go to safekids.org and look for a certified tech near you to call. The firehouse/ police may or may not be certified and may not install correctly.

On Long Island there are no Fire Houses that do car seat checks. And in Nassau County, no police stations.
For in formation on checks, call Nassau County Traffic Safety at 516-571-9664. There are very few locations that do the checks in the winter, however Nassau does them year round.
If you want to check for a local location do not use carseat.org in New York State use: http://www.safeny.ny.gov/ follow the links for local numbers.
However Nassau Traffic Safety can direct you to locations that may be doing the winter months.

Hassell in Suffolk is a great location and great people there.
