DH just came down with a cold and I'm about to deliver
Gotta love winter!
I was due Monday so it really is any time now and he came down with a cold yesterday. What do we do in this situation? I think it's a cold that I had a couple of week's back that kind of lingered so I'm hoping baby has my antibodies for it. DD had it too but I feel like it's only a matter of time before she catches his now.

DH just came down with a cold and I'm about to deliver
I got a cold the day I turned 39 weeks pregnant with my third. I delivered a few days late and it was gone and I thought i was in the clear. But, when DD was 8 days old, DH came down with the cold. I isolated him from me, the baby, and our 2 other kids. A few days later, I got mastitis, and the cold came back to me. At 2 weeks old, my baby did get a minor version of the cold, but luckily no fever. (I was the only one who had fever, but it was from mastitis.) She was fine, but I was worried.

That sounds like quite an ordeal! Glad DD was fine. DH just said he'll wear a mask in delivery room and around baby and obviously wash up like crazy. With a 3-year-old in nursery school, this is going to be an interesting winter with a NB. My DD looks at someone with a cold and comes down with it!
