Disney Cruise vs parks with a 2y/o
I can't afford both. Which do you think would be better with a 2 y/o? I've been on the cruise and loved it even though there wasn't much for a 12 month old - she didn't like the beach but I think being older she may enjoy it more.

I would say the parks. But in general I am not a fan of cruises with toddlers.. But the parks there is so much more to do.

Re: Disney Cruise vs parks with a 2y/o
We did both in April (3 days at parks, 4 night cruise)with our 5yo and our 2yo who turned 2 in the magic kingdom. My older D's was amazing in the parks at 2. So much so we took him again at 3 and couldn't wait to take our second son to wdw.
Problem is D's 2 is so much more rambunctious. He gets overwhelmed and throws fits. The parks were exhausting with him. We said not again until he is 6!!! However the cruise (4 nights on the dream) was perfection for our family.
Our 2 yo loved the shows, seeing the characters (liked them better on the ship than at the parks), loved nemos reef, loved that we didn't once use a stroller. We used the nursery for a dinner at Palo which was soooo good.
Anyway, so my answer for my family is the cruise but really it depends on the type of 2yo you have.

I think it really depends on your child. I have had clients really enjoy both with a 2 year old. I think a good tip for the parks is to pace yourself and be prepared to take breaks and not get "everything" done in one trip. Plan for some pool time, nap time, down town Disney time, etc.
For the price, I think Disney is a better deal but that's me personally. If you'd like to discuss the options in more depth I'd be happy to help you. My services are free and I am a Disney specialist.
