Internals and csections?
Are they necessary if you know u are having a csection?

i did not have a csection, but my guess is they still are necessary because if you are progressing earlier then your scheduled date they may try to have the csection earlier then originally planned
eta - people will say they arent necessary at all even if you are delivering vaginally bc they are not an accurate way of telling anything. but i dont mind my doctor doing them

Crashing too I had a scheduled c/s with DD1 and DD2...my doctor did not do internals either time.

I had a planned c section and my doctor told me the internals weren't necessary and I didn't have to get them if I didn't want to.

I had internals with my twins who were a scheduled c section. But maybe just because I was having twins, because with my last DC I had no internals.

I get an internal every month -- internal to measure my cervix, followed by the sono.
I'm having twins and having a csection -- but I thought it was protocol?
