Anyone suddenly become allergic to a pet during pregnancy?
We have 2 dogs, both mutts. Suddenly in the past couple weeks, any time I touch one of them, I break out in hives wherever my skin touched her. We've had her for close to 5 years and I've been through 2 other pregnancies and didn't have this. Anyone else go through this? Did it go away?

hmmm strange i would talk to dr about it .
any new shampoos or food that they are eating??

No, nothing new with them. From what I've heard and read, it's fairly common for new allergies to show up during pregnancy. I don't personally know anyone who it happened to, so I was just curious if anyone here experienced it. My next appt is in 2 weeks and I am definitely planning to talk to my doc about it.
