BTDT: A constant cramp-like feeling before labor?
I'm one day late. I just started having BH contractions yesterday for the first time all pregnancy. I never had them at all with DD and I had to be induced with her at 41w2d. Today, I've had BH on and off but I also feel this tight, pulling cramp-like feeling pretty much all day in my stomach—almost like a nervous stomach.
Is this common?

Are you sure it's BH?
Sounds like the start of labor. Are you timing them?

I haven't started timing yet--they seem irregular and really short right now. I guess next time I get a BH I'll time it. It's not painful. I had one this morning that felt pretty uncomfortable, but otherwise, just the tightening/stomach clenching feeling.

Body getting ready to go into labor. Especially since you haven't had BH all pregnancy. Maybe you'll go into labor tomorrow.

I have been in labor on and off for a week. Once real contractions start you will know the difference. Just monitor them. Everyone is different remember so if you are ever concerned call the doctor!

I was hoping you went by now! Thanks all! I definitely know what a real contraction feels like from DD so know these are not them yet. But the constant cramp-like feeling all day today is definitely something new so was just wondering if it's the start of something, since I didn't go into labor on my own last time around.

Nope. It pretty much backed off last night. Today, I've had some BH contractions, but nothing else. I'm sure this baby will want to come when we're having a blizzard tomorrow night! I have an appt tomorrow, I'm  I'll be dilated enough that doctor will just send me to hospital, but I think that's a stretch!
How are you doing?

crashing, but a few days before my water broke I started to get cramping or what felt like period pains, so that was the start of it for me. I never had BH contractions. Good luck!
