contraction question
How do you know when your contractions are actually something? Iv been having a lot of contractions tonight, they are a little bit painful but nothing crazy. I got checked today and she really had to dig around up there to check me , she told me not to be surprised if I bled a little, so I'm thinking maybe that could have started something.

With DD1 I was induced so I never had those beginning contractions. I'm currently a day late with this DC and having BH for the first time all pregnancy and two of them have been somewhat uncomfortable, that I'm wondering if they were the real deal, but there is no regularity to them. I'd think that's what you want to monitor...how often they are coming and how long they are lasting. If it's the real deal, a real pattern will emerge.

With mine, I was in a lot of pain. I'd say an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10. And there was a definite start and finish.

After internals I feel like I always get crampy. Everyone told me once you have a "real" contractions you will know and boy oh boy were they right. They are extremely painful and take your breathe away.

contraction question
Mine started out very easy...like period cramps but they would tighten and then go away. You'll know BC a few minutes later you will be like hmm that pain is back again.. over and over!

Well I dunno if that was the start or something or it was the fact that we dtd tree hat night but the next morning I had definite contractions and had baby that night!
