bottles this or that help!
I used Dr brown with first..I have many ..figured just buy new nipples right? I never liked all the pieces but know it works with gas....at least for DC1 ..DC2 on way...not sure what to do...I have advent brand new ..someone have me..they from few years ago...never opened but maybe i should get new nipples since out in garage heat and cold ec??
should I try avent? Or sick with what I know? Bit overwhelmed today ....every thought seems hard to figure out..help!

First relax...then just wait to see how your baby does with regular bottles (ones that dont have 28 pieces to clean) then take it from there. As for nipples if they are BPA free & packaged tight I wld prob use..thats me.
I use Playtex Drop in type & never had spit up or gas issues. At least yiu know you have bottles for gas just in case. Good Luck to you. :)

We used dr browns with dd1. We figured why not with dd2. Well she couldn't tKe them and was gulping and she's was screaming. We went to playtex drop ins. I wish I used with dd1 who really didn't dr browns they were just top rated. The cleanup is so easy and she's much better with them.

We used dr brown at first but cleaning them took too much time. I tried the drop ins but they were already used to the regular nipple. I ended up with the platex ventair. Less pieces but good for gas and used the dr browns nipples.

we used tommee tippee with dd1 and then drop ins.
this baby we just will be using drop ins. So much easier.

I used Dr. Browns with both DDs. I HATED all the pieces. This time I got Tommee Tippee and Nuk. DS doesn't show any preference, so I just use what is clean, and interchange without a thought. I say go with what is easy first, then change if necessary. One thought though, consider all aspects before settling on one choice...the Tommee Tippee bottles don't fit into the regular bottle warmer or cooler bags/cases properly, including the cooler compartment with my breast pump. So try the Avent ones everywhere before you decide to settle on them.

After working with infants for several years, I don't believe that Dr Browns make babies any less gassy than other bottles. The infants that used Dr Browns were just as gassy.

We started with Avent and loved them but when dd became gassy, one doctor at our practice told us to switch to dr. Browns. Honestly, they didn't really help with the gas. They were a pia. So many parts and the ounce lines are so hard to see. We used them for about 8 months then switched to playtex drop ins. I say try the Avent first if you have them. Don't go for dr. Browns unless you have to.
