Waves of nausea....
For the past week I keep getting these waves of nausea.... Like one min, I swear I'm going to puke and then....poof- its gone! An hour goes by and guess what?..... back again!
I never had any kind of morning sickness with my other 2 children.....
When I eat something, I do feel better, but at the moment I feel sick, its the last thing I can do...(forget it- the thought of food, I cant even handle!)
I'm not sure how long to expect this to last and since I'm only 6 weeks- I don't think its going away anytime soon!
Any tips or certain foods that make this a little better???
Sometimes I swear, if Id just puke- Id feel a million times better....
(Its weird but I wanna say its like I have a day- where I'm starving and never feel full and then yet the next day, I totally feel green! )

did u try ginger root. miracle solution. takes away nausea right away. I didn't threw up just kept having bad nausea and it was one of the only things that helped. Also smelling/licking lemon/orange helped.

Re: Waves of nausea....
I am right there with you. I feel like I am going to puke or just feel sick. As much as we hate it. It's a good thing. It means our baby is developing and our bodies are taking the necessary precautions to protect our baby. By making us nauseous, thus limiting what we can eat, our body does this as a natural way to prevent us from food poisoning. That's also why our sense of smell is highly developed when we are pregnant. To steer us away from bad/spoiled foods.
I have become very finicky when it comes to food and I found that fruits like apples and berries help with my nausea. Also peppermint chewing gum when it gets really bad and Twinnings Lemon and Ginger Tea when you just want to get through the day. I tried ginger ale but that never worked for me.
