what the H.E double is WRONG with people!!
sorry but i need a place to vent.
If your kid has a leaky nose, coughing and vomiting...PLEASE for the love of god leave the kid home! WTF Then the kid is all over all of my sons toys and coughing without covering his mouth. I'm freaking pregnant...last thing i need is to get sick or have to take care of a sick toddler. especially vomiting! yuck!

Yeah. My kid for sick 2 Christmases ago from his sick cousin.
Hard for people to leave a sick kid home on Christmas.

I agree ! My friend stayed home last night with her sick, coughing daughter. She sent her DH and older son to Christmas Eve dinner without them, because she didn't want to get the other little ones sick.

This happened to me last Christmas when dd was two months old. I was so worried she would get sick. And the kicker was the mom (SIL) gave me an attitude when I asked that they didn't let my nephew, who was coughing and hacking, touch dds hands.

Ugh, I am so sorry. That stinks. We were supposed to go to family last week and we had the stomach flu so we stay home. We still got yelled at for not coming. You just can't win with some people.

We were THOSE people last Thanksgiving and I still feel awful about it! DC threw up ONCE and that was it...never again. Figured it must have been something DC ate or whatever since DC only threw up that one time and was otherwise keeping food down and everything. We waited to see how breakfast Thanksgiving morning went and DC was TOTALLY fine so we figured it was just a fluke. Needless to say, we took the ENTIRE family out (30+ people) with a stomach virus the day after thanksgiving, ourselves included. Ive since learned my lesson! To this day, I still feel awful about it!
My sister and I also did Black Friday that night and the second I got home mine started, I can only imagine how many people I infected being out at all of those stores!

I mean, at the VERY least...don't let your kid be all over all the other kids and be coughing all over their toys knowing he's under the weather.
I can understand a one time vomit and thinking "ehh maybe he overate or maybe his food just didn't agree with him" but runny nose, coughing AND vomiting? they HAD to have known in advance he wasn't feeling well. He walked in the door coughing with a runny nose.

I hate when people so that. I would never do that. my dd is sick as a dog along with me and we both sadly missed out on all family xmas dinners
:(but i would never chance anyone getting sick cause of us.
Unfortunately someone didnt use the same care when watching my dd and selfishly didnt tell me they were getting sick because they wanted to see my dd. And they got her sick and in turn got me sick. I am soo angry tgat i want to ask them wtf is wrong with you?! How could yoh be so selfish? My poor dd now has bronchial virus cause of you and i can bareltget out of bed.
