Do boys eat more than girls?
DS is 5 weeks old, and still eating every 3 hours!! Occasionally he will go 4 hours, and ONCE in a while 5...if sleeping in the car for instance. DDs were going 4 hours between feedings, almost from the beginning. He often spits up after eating (not a lot, but a teaspoon or two probably), so I don't want to increase his volume per bottle. He is currently getting 4oz.

Every baby is different! My DD ate every 2 hours for a few weeks then bumped to 3 so she was probably on a similar schedule to your son. By 3 months when I went back to work she was going 4 hours then sleeping a 12hr stretch at night!

nope…it more that each baby is different. I don't think it tracks to boy vs girl just baby vs baby

I don't think its a gender thing. My cousin's ds is tiny and barely eats anything. My dd is tall and thin but loves to eat. At 5w she was eating every 2-3hrs.

I don't think there's any correlation. Every baby is different.

Re: Do boys eat more than girls?
As others said, every baby is different. Gender doesn't matter.
ETA: 5 weeks is also really young, so eating every 3 hours is perfectly normal.
