Ugh my skin is a disaster!

My skin is awful.... I don't know what to do anymore! Aside from looking scary, these zits hurt like a b!tch!!!!!! I have a whole face wash routine (poor scrub, face wash, cream cleanser- astringent, then an all natural blemish cream) but it's not cutting it!!!! I was on estrogen until today so I'm sure that made things a little worse (even my neck and chest is breaking out!) Anyone have suggestions?

Re: Ugh my skin is a disaster!

i had some bad skin periods in my 1st and 2nd tri. it had gotten better and i don't know if anything i've done has contributed to it or if it was just a hormonal change that helped. 2 things i started doing: mixing tea tree oil into my daily oil-free moisturizer and i stopped wearing make up 90% of the time. i do not typically wear a lot of makeup anyway, and the face powders i use are mineral powders, but the brushes can trap bacteria. i'm not good at regularly (or ever) washing my makeup brushes and didn't want to start now, so most days i just put on mascara and some under eye dark circle stuff.

i use cetaphil face cleanser, oil free Simple moisturizer and once a week use a kiehls mask my derm recommended for pregnant women (it's a clay pore cleansing mask). pretty simple. but like i said, no idea if any of this matters or if my hormones just started treating me better.

Me too, I feel your pain literally! =( The past few days they are just everywhere and nothing is helping, I guess it's hormones. Im just trying to cover it with makeup and not look in a mirror lol

My skin was a nightmare 1st and 2nd tri. I would wake up each morning with a new pimple. It was so horrible I went to the Derm and she gave me 2 rx. I think they might of helped some.
