Majestic Colonial Punta Cana
Anyone been? With kids? How was it? My boys would be just shy of 3rd birthday, and 13 months. TIA!

Re: Majestic Colonial Punta Cana
We stayed there once when DS was 6. We didn't use the kids camp, so I have no experience in that area but it was a nice hotel, good service and DS enjoyed the long pool. He still talks about that. They had board games and other games for kids in the lobby area and family dancing early night that we joined a couple of times -more for me, because neither DH nor DS like to dance It was a good change from the Melia, because the year before we had bad experiences there regarding customer service.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana
My mom went in September and she loved it. She had a butler and one of their suites. Sorry not sure about the kids, but it's a nice resort.

Re: Majestic Colonial Punta Cana
I wouldve booked this hotel when we took dd for her first bday but i read that since its more north east on the atlantic side, there tend to be some large waves... I opted for calm ocean and stayed at dreams la romana instead... zero waves on the southern side of DR

This was one of the other resorts we were looking at. Right now it is between Majestic Colonial, Dreams La Romana, & Club Med Punta Cana.

I was looking into La Romana as well. How was the drinking water there for DD? Did you use bottled water only for everything? I ended booking Jamaica but we love to to go to DR as well.

We drank bottled, brushed with bottled etc... I didn't want to take any chances. But we did have drinks with ice in them and didn't get sick so I guess their purification system works well. The weird thing is we couldn't get milk anywhere there... They only used parmalat... So my dd did drink that too.

Thanks! I'll be travelling with Parmalat
