projectile vomit after eating new food
dd had spinach and potatoes (earths best jar) for the first time Wed night. She liked it, was fine. Had it again last night and vomited about an hour after. Had it tonight and vomited about 3/4 way through.
Obviously we will not be giving her spinach and potato again, but has this ever happen to you? I didn't think spinach and potatoes were things that would make her puke.

Re: projectile vomit after eating new food
Yes, my son vomited about 30 minutes after eating eggs for the 2nd or 3rd time he had them. I didn't know the meaning of the phrase projectile vomiting until that episode. Of course, we were in public at the time. He woke up with a rash after his nap right after that. He was tested and sure enough, was/is allergic to eggs. He also vomited within 30 minutes of eating the equivalent of perhaps a single peanut the first time he ate one. Again, tested and highly allergic to peanuts.
That said, there seems to be a strong stomach virus going around so...

Yeah it could be an allergy, but at this time of year it could, very well be a virus also.
I'd probably wait a week or so, try again and if the same thing happens call your ped

Spinach is rough on the stomach. I would stay away for it for awhile.
