A little bit of progress!
I just came from my 38 week appt (I'm 38w4d). Last week the doc said I had an "unfavorable cervix" -- closed up tight. This week, I was 1 cm and my cervix was soft (he said he can't give me accurate effacement percentage until I'm at least 2 cm).
I know it doesn't mean much (and I actually don't want to go too early--trying to make it past xmas so I could be home with DD), but considering I didn't dilate at all with DD and had to be induced at 8/9 days late, I was happy to hear that something is happening!

Hold out until jan 1st so your baby can be the first one of the year! Haha. Jk.

Haha, I think I'll take the 2013 tax write-off over that.
