Christening locations
We are planning on having DD's christening on Jan 25. I need location ideas! Looking for somewhere close to bayside. We only have about 30 adults and 13 kids. Any suggestions?? We are looking to keep costs low by doing a Saturday brunch.

I had my son's at Donovan's in Bayside and that was great--it was late afternoon lunch/dinner though. But this past spring I had my oldest DD's Communion party at Tavern 18 on Union Tpke in New Hyde Park. We did a brunch and the food was excellent and definitely budget-friendly. Unlimited brunch cocktails too--can't go wrong there!!

I have been to events at Donovan's, Monahan's and Maggie May's, I think they are actually all on the same street in Bayside.

We had brunch at Donovan's recently and there was a christening in the private back room. Looks nice.

Thanks ladies. We have had a few family parties at Donovan's so looking for somewhere different.
We will check out Tavern 18! Any other ideas?

Jimmy trattoria - it's on bell just south of northern blvd. I have been to dinner there a bunch of times and they recently added a private section and since they don't open up unstil dinner if its a day event you have the place to yourself from 12-4.
