Pediatrician Reco: Smithtown/Hauppauge
I've just entered my third tri-mester and think it's time to start looking for a pediatrician. Can anyone recommend someone in the Smithtown/Hauppauge area? I'm looking for someone who is knowledgable, but won't force his/her opinion. I don't like when docs make you feel like you're an idiot if you don't listen to them (but then, I guess, who does??) TIA!

Branch pediatrics in Smithtown. We use Dr Keith and Dr. Richard Ancona (Father/Son team), but there are other drs in the practice as well whom we have seen a handful of times as well. The medical and nursing staff are wonderful to talk to.

We take dd there as well and we like it there. We usually see Dr. Keith Ancona (the son) and we have seen a couple of the other doctors there for emergency visits. All are very professional, friendly, and patient.

Commack Pediatric Partners on the Smithtown Commack Border. Very small practice - only 2 doctors. Very personal care. Love them!

WE use Smithtown peds , dr valmassoi! Very happy there, its a big practice but 9 times out of 10 I see my boys dr. We have been going there 6 years now!

Pediatrician Reco: Smithtown/Hauppauge
Lake Grove Pediatrics, Dr Amy Goldberg. She is on 347 next to PC Richards. Sole practioner and knows every one of her patients. She is excellent.

Pediatrician Reco: Smithtown/Hauppauge
We use Dr. Amy Goldberg in Lake Grove (on 347) Lake Grove Pediatrics and love her! She's a solo practice but makes herself totally available to you...she even gives you her email & cell & encourages parents to call w questions. The building itself is a lil run down but her office is new.

Pediatrician Reco: Smithtown/Hauppauge
I love Dr Barem at Smithtown Peds. She's very calm and patient. She always waits for ds to settle down before any exam or shot. As a result he loves going to the dr and never cries. As previous poster mentioned it is a large practice but very easy to get an appt. they also have walk in hours throughout the day.
