Museum of Natural History?
Dh and I are planning to take the girls to the city 12/30. We will see the tree, maybe go to the American Girl Store and then the Museum of Natural History. I was able to reserve passes through the public library but I still have to purchase tix for the girls. You can buy them online, but do I have to? If we show up and try to buy tix the day of, do they sell out?? I don't think we will pay to go to any of the special exhibits or if we do we would wait until the day of. The girls are 2 1/2 and 5 1/2.

Museum of Natural History?
General Admission won't sell out. However, if you want to see any special shows or exhibitions they may sell out due to the high level of attendance expected the holiday week.

im pretty sure general admission for AMNH is a "suggestion" so i wouldnt buy online because they charge you the suggested price. if you buy in person you can give any amount
but the special exhibits cost extra (IMAX etc)
eta - i am pretty sure the special exhibits are a set price and not a suggestion

Museum of Natural History?
I always say this, but, REMEMBER, the Museum of Natural History is DONATION ONLY. They have a recommended donation, but you can pay 5cents each and still get in. You just have to give something.
