Nipple blisters, maybe tmi
Hi everyone! I noticed last night after breast feeding and pumping that a have clustered whitish clear painful blisters directly on my nipples! Ds was born dec10th,I have been either pumping bc he was in nicu and now breast feeding with a nipple shield. Has this ever happened to anyone?

Re: Nipple blisters, maybe tmi
YES! It is called a "bleb" and was literally the most painful thing imaginable! I got them 2-3 times total in the 2 years I BFd DD, so thankfully they are rare.
Kellymom.com has advice on how to treat them. If I remember, I just used warm compresses and lansinoh ointment in between feedings. I kept nursing through the pain bc that was how I got them to pop. Once they pop it feels SO much better.
Good luck.

I popped them too, I got them on one side for months because DS had a terrible latch and it eventually led to mastitis, so be careful!
