We are having regular blow outs with Huggies. What are your secrets to reducing blowouts?
I thought maybe she was growing out of them but she is still 1 lb within range.
We had the same challenge when we first used Luvs, but after a few days we figured it out.

You can't always go by the weight range on the bag. Try moving up a size and you should see an improvement!

I agree. DS is still within the size 1 range but they were getting tight, so we moved to size 2. We don't have any blowouts though, but moving up in size should help.

This. Plus the sizes overlap. Size 1 in pampers says 8-14lbs but size 2 says 12-18 lbs.

def go up a size
if you look at their sizes they overlap:
size 1 is up to 14lbs
size 2 12-18
size 3 16-28
size 4 22-37
size 5 27+

dd weights 18lbs and i plan on having her finish up the size threes we have in the house but my next box is a size 4 (which is what she sleeps in that fits her fine).

DD is in size 4 at 20lb so you can't always rely on that, try the next size

I saw size 2 started at 12lbs, but when we ordered our box of 329 or whatever it was she wasn't 12 lbs yet, so I figured she would get through a box and then go t the next size. I now realize that I was wrong.
Thanks all!

Re: For those that use Huggies

See I actually think its the quality of the Huggies that's gone down hill. A couple times, without even the diaper being full, the little beads came out. I switched to baby ganics and haven't had a problem.

I used to have the same problem when I used Huggies, then I switched to Pampers and rarely had blow outs.

Probably did. Btw when DH came home Wednesday he asked what happened to the car seat. He thought I broke it!

Re: For those that use Huggies

Go up a size. We use pampers, but had dd in size 3 at 13lbs when the minimum is 16! Don't go by the weight guidelines.
