what does everyone use to put on their bellies to minimize stretch marks? My DH gave me vitamin E oil, but does it really eliminate stretch marks? All I felt was that it helped with some of the winter skin dryness.

i don't know if it's working b/c I don't see any stretch marks (knock on wood) but I occasionally use either Palmer's Cocoa Butter lotion or Vaseline with Cocoa Butter

Nothing will eliminate stretch marks. They are genetic and if you a meant to get them then you will. I would just use any moisturizer and stay away from tanning as that can make them stand out more.

I've been using Burt's Bee's MamaBee belly cream. It was the first one I saw in the store. Smells good!

I've had stretch marks all over my belly for years so I'm not doing anything. No matter what you do, they'll either appear or not.

this exactly
i asked my dr about it and she said i can rub whatever i want on my belly, but if they are coming they are coming
i just use my normal body lotion to keep moisturized

I use Palmer's Cocoa Butter lotion and Palmer's Cocoa Butter, Tummy Butter For Stretch Marks every single day since I was like 10 weeks.
I figure if I do get stretch marks at least I know I tried to prevent them. I think it is based on genetics and weight gain.

Exactly this. My mom never had them and neither did I.
But it's totally the luck of the draw and nothing will prevent them if you are predisposed to them.
I used to moisturize my belly with regular lotion just because it was always so darn itchy!

I use coconut oil bc I like being moisturized and to minimize the itching, but am a big believer in genetics and nothing will prevent them.
