When did you stop giving pouches?
Dd is 20 mo and used to eat everything but has gotten pickier lately. She hasn't had a purée since she was about a year old but the other day I offered a pouch to get some veggies in her and she ate it without hesitation. I realize some are geared toward toddlers but I can't help but feel guilty for resorting back to "baby food". I don't want to baby her or start bad eating habits but I also want to make sure there are enough veggies in her diet. How old is too old for a pouch, in your opinion?

Um, DD is 2 1/2 and still eats them here and there. 
I don't have a problem with it. She's a great eater, will usually try anything so I don't think it's an issue. She loves them and they're quick and easy when we're in a rush. I know she's getting veggies (she also eats them in their natural form) and she has fun eating them.

When they were recalled recently 
We still have a couple of cases just sitting here ..
My boys are almost 2.5 and I would still give them if I trusted them.

My boys are 2 and almost 4 and still eat them! We use them as a side to the main dish, great way to get veggies in!

DD is 4 and still prefers apple sauce in the pouch. She gets the motts naturals not the ones from the baby food aisle.

DD is 19 months and I still give them. They're just so easy to keep on hand for when we're on the go. She eats them quickly and with no mess. I also give them in the morning on days she has PT really early and doesn't have time or desire to eat a full meal beforehand. I sometimes give her one if she doesn't eat well at dinner or if we're out for dinner and she's not into whatever we're eating. I like that there are some things she'll eat from the pouches that she won't eat otherwise.

When did you stop giving pouches?
DS is 2.5 and he still eats them. He stopped getting the baby ones from Plum, Earth's Best, etc. a few months ago. Now he loves the Gogo Squeeze Applesauce pouches.

Same here. Such a shame because DD loved them.

Was Happy Baby/Happy Tot ever recalled? Those are the ones I've been giving. To be honest a recall wouldn't stop me from using a product ever again. If they handled it then they're probably more on top of things than ever now.

My daughter is 22 mo and loves them. I keep them in my bag if we are out, great snack.
The recall was plum, and it was a voluntary recall supposedly, noone was harmed. Everything gets recalled at some point or another

My twins are 2 we use the apple sauce pouches all the time. Not the ones sold in the baby food section, but the ones sold with apple sauce. (much less expensive) It is the easiest on the go snack.

They sell pouches you can fill yourself. I make purées and give them to day in those still when we are on the go. He is 20 months.

I have a set of these too and love them. Ours are from Resqueeze and they work great. I haven't had them too long but I've done regular yogurt, applesauce, sweet potato mixed with applesauce, smoothies.
