Riverhead aquarium
How is it? My 6 month old is loving looking at our aquarium at home, I think he would love the colors and the fish swimming around.

It's expensive & very small, which the size would be fine for his age.
We end up just getting the season pass because when it comes down to it the one time admission is just as much. (for our size family...)

IMO 6 mons is young. They don;t have a ton of things and its not cheap so you'd be spending a lot for very little. I took DS when he was 16m and he was not that into it and he loves fish.

we took dd when she was 8 or 9 months old... we found it expensive and lackluster compared to other aquariums/what we were expecting. You finish it SO quick. Which I guess is ok, since they are young... but it was kind of like 1, 2, 3 done. Not worth the effort of going or the cost. everything was like closed off or not in season.

Riverhead aquarium
This sounds kinda stupid but we take DS to pet stores to look at the fish. He looooves it and it's free

Let's go!!!! We can combine it with the wineries when it gets nice out. And lunch at the lobster roll. Yummmm

That's actually really smart. We went to dinner and dd stayed in her stroller/car seat the whole time staring at the aquarium our table was next to. It was great!
